Remove
- Remove the liftgate applique carrier. See Carrier - Applique - Liftgate (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).

Disconnect the liftgate extension
connectors (x3), release the clips (x3) that attach the harness to the liftgate applique
carrier, and then remove the harness from the carrier.
Install

Connect the liftgate extension
connectors (x3), and then install the clips (x3) that attach the harness to the liftgate
applique carrier.
