Track - Inner - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row RH seat. See .
  2. Remove the 2nd row RH seat podium. See Podium - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator connector.
  4. Install the seat fold tool to the floor latch actuator, and then use it to release the floor latches.
  5. Disconnect the floor latch actuator connector and remove the seat fold tool from the 2nd row RH seat.
  6. Connect the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator connector.
  7. Position the 2nd row RH seat on its RH side.
  8. Release the clips (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat easy entry actuator cable from the LH easy entry latch.
  9. Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat inner seat track to the seat frame assembly.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  10. Remove the 2nd row RH seat inner seat track from the seat frame assembly and release the towel bar from the outer seat track.
    Note
    The inner seat track will be removed with towel bar. The towel bar is spring loaded. Place one hand over the towel bar lever securing towel bar to inner seat track, and then remove the inner seat track then lift the towel bar upwards to disengage it from the outer seat track.
  11. Remove the towel bar from the 2nd row RH seat inner seat track.
    Note
    Lift the towel bar upwards to remove it from the inner track.

Install

  1. Install the towel bar into the 2nd row RH seat inner seat track.
    Note
    Install the spring and the towel bar into the seat track. Rotate the towel bar until it is properly placed inside the holding tabs.
  2. Install the 2nd row RH seat towel bar into the outer seat track and install the inner seat track to the seat frame assembly.
  3. Install the nuts (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat inner seat track to the seat frame assembly.
    37 Nm (27.3 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  4. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat easy entry actuator cable to the LH easy entry latch.
  5. Install the 2nd row RH seat podium to the seat tracks.
    Note
    Install the groove on the 2nd row seat podium to the outer seat track, then align the groove to the inner seat track. Engage the towel bar with one hand, and use the other hand to move the inner seat track inward until the groove engages to seat track.
  6. Install new bolts (x2) (1508763-00-B) that attach the RH seat podium to the seat tracks.
    37 Nm (27.3 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 11 mm socket
  7. Position the 2nd row RH seat onto the seat tracks and latch the floor latches.
    Note
    Push downwards on the seat frame assembly to latch the floor latches.
  8. Fully seat the 2nd row RH seat cushion assembly to the seat frame.
    Note
    Push downwards to fully seat the cushion pan to the seat frame. Be cautious to not pinch the actuator cables or the cushion harness.
  9. Install the clip that attaches the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
  10. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  11. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat cushion harness to the podium.
  12. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator connector.
  13. Fold the 2nd row RH seat using the seat fold tool.
    Note
    Plug in the seat fold tool, install the recliner actuator connector into the recliner actuator, and then activate switch to fold the 2nd row RH seat.
  14. Disconnect the recliner actuator connector and remove the seat fold tool from the 2nd row RH seat.
  15. Connect the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator connector.
  16. Install the 2nd row RH seat podium to the seat tracks. See Podium - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
