Front Door Trim Pad - Electric Release Switch - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the interior door handle to the door panel trim.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Apply masking tape around the work area to protect the LH front door trim panel.
  4. Pry open the LH front door handle trim panel.
  5. Release the tabs to remove the LH interior door release switch from the LH front door trim panel.

Install

  1. Engage the tabs to install the LH interior door release switch to the LH front door trim panel.
  2. Secure the door handle onto the LH front door panel trim.
  3. Remove the masking tape from the LH front door trim panel.
  4. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the interior door handle to the door panel trim.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  5. Install the LH front door trim. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
