Rail Assembly - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model Y L) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  2. Rotate the seat to gain access to the underside.
    Note
    Protect the seat cushion from damage.
  3. Remove the harness clip.
  4. Disconnect the 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  5. Remove the nuts (x8) that attach the LH 2nd row seat rail assembly from the 2nd row seat.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  6. Remove the track covers (x4) from the LH 2nd row seat rail assembly.

Install

  1. Install the track covers (x4) to the LH 2nd row seat rail assembly.
  2. Install the nuts (x8) that attach the LH 2nd row seat rail assembly from the 2nd row seat.
    28 Nm (20.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  3. Connect the 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  4. Install the harness clip.
  5. Install the LH 2nd row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
