Steering Wheel - Horn (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Remove

  1. Remove the driver airbag. See Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the steering wheel horn connector.
  3. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the steering wheel horn to the steering wheel, and then remove the horn from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 5 mm hex

Install

  1. Position the steering wheel horn onto the steering wheel, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the steering wheel horn to the steering wheel.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 5 mm hex
  2. Connect the steering wheel horn connector.
  3. Install the driver airbag. See Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).
