Trim - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back shell. See Shell - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back trim from the seat back foam.
    Warning
    The airbag is configured/folded in a specific manner and will need to be replaced if it is dropped, altered or manipulated in any way.
    Note
    The trim cover is held to the cushion by Velcro. Gently pull the trim inch by inch. Start from the lower seat back and work upward. Ensure the Velcro does not tear off the cushion.
  3. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back head side air bag from the chute.
    Note
    Clear the air bag studs from the air bag chute and slide the air bag assembly out. Avoid over-handling the air bag. Replace the air bag if it is dropped or damaged.

Install

  1. Install the 3rd row LH seat back head side air bag into the chute.
    Note
    Clear the studs and slide the air bag into position. Align the studs with the access holes. Avoid over-handling the air bag. Replace the air bag if it is dropped or damaged.
  2. Install the 3rd row LH seat back trim to the seat back foam.
    Warning
    The airbag is configured/folded in a specific manner and will need to be replaced if it is dropped, altered or manipulated in any way.
    Note
    Starting from the upper seat back and working downward, gently press the seat back trim to attach the Velcro. Route the strap through the foam center.
  3. Install the 3rd row LH seat back shell. See Shell - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
