Replace 1995122-99-A

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the tuned mass damper to the liftgate assembly, and release the hooks (x2) to remove it from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket

Install

  1. Position the tuned mass damper to the liftgate and install the hooks (x2), and then install new bolts (x2) that attach the tuned mass damper to the liftgate assembly.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  2. Install the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
