Foam - Seat Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row RH seat cushion trim cover assembly. See Trim Cover - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release Velcro securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
    Note
    Release Velcro approximately 11 cm until hog rings are visible.
  3. Remove front hog rings securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
  4. Release remaining Velcro securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
    Note
    Release Velcro approximately 21 cm until hog rings are visible.
  5. Remove rear hooks securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad and remove RH seat cushion trim cover.
  6. Gently lift the seat RH pad heating wire.
    Note
    Lift the heating wire of the seat cushion gently to remove the seat cushion occupancy sensor. Do not damage or deform the heating wire. Need assistance.
  7. Remove the 2nd row seat cushion RH occupancy sensor.
    Note
    Remove from the bottom of heating wire and be careful not to damage foam when removing wiring harness.

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row RH seat cushion occupancy sensor
    Note
    Remove the protective pad of the resistance sensor and expose the adhesive to install the sensor on the top of the foam, and return the seat cushion heating wire to its original position.
  2. Position RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad and install rear hog rings securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
  3. Install velcro securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
    Note
    Install velcro approximately 21 cm.
  4. Install front hooks securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
  5. Install remain velcro securing RH seat cushion trim cover to foam pad.
  6. Install the 2nd row RH seat cushion trim cover assembly. See Trim Cover - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).

  11. Close all four doors.
    Note
    Unlatch doors before closing if necessary.
