Remove
- Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.

Move the driver seat forward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed and avoid contacting the headliner.

Move the LH 2nd row seat
rearward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed and avoid contacting the headliner.

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the front of the LH 2nd row seat to the
body.
CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to remove the seat bolts.TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus TP45 Bit Socket
NoteUse the torchless heat induction tool to ease the removal of patch bolts, if necessary. -
Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed.

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the rear of the LH 2nd row seat to the
body.
CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to remove the seat bolts.TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus TP45 Bit Socket
NoteUse the torchless heat induction tool to ease the removal of patch bolts, if necessary. -
Adjust the LH 2nd row seat to the middle of the seat track.
NotePerforming this step will aide in removing the seat and avoid damaging other components.
- Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).

Partially lift the seat assembly, and then disconnect the LH 2nd row seat
connector.

Release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the LH 2nd row seat.

With assistance, remove the LH 2nd row seat from the vehicle.
CAUTIONTake care not to damage the upholstery or trim while removing the seat.
Install

With assistance, install the LH 2nd row seat to the vehicle.
CAUTIONTake care not to damage the upholstery or trim while positioning the seat.

Partially lift the seat assembly, and then connect the LH 2nd row seat
connector.

Install the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the LH 2nd row seat.
- Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).

Move the LH 2nd row seat rearward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed and avoid contacting other components.

Install new bolts (x2) that attach the front of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.

Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed.

Install new bolts (x2) that attach the rear of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.

- Move the LH 2nd row seat back and driver seat to their original positions.
- Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
