Harness - Seat Frame - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH and RH seat back panels. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the 3rd row center inner B-cover. See B-Cover - Center Inner - 3rd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the 3rd row LH seat cushion bolster. See Bolster - Seat Cushion - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the 3rd row RH seat cushion bolster. See Bolster - Seat Cushion - 3rd Row - RH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  7. Disconnect the 3rd row LH and RH seat frame harness connectors.
  8. Release the clips (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  9. Release the LH front clip that attaches the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  10. Release the clips (x3) that attach the 3rd row RH seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  11. Release the RH front clip that attaches the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  12. Disconnect the 3rd row LH and RH seat belt buckle connectors.
  13. Release the rear clips (x5) that attach the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back assembly.
  14. Disconnect the 3rd row LH recline motor connector.
  15. Disconnect the 3rd row LH seat back heat pad connector.
  16. Disconnect the 3rd row LH seat back sensor connector.
  17. Release 5 of the 3rd row LH seat back trim retainers from the seat back frame.
  18. Disconnect the 3rd row LH head side air bag connector.
    Note
    Press down the white tabs on both sides to release the connector.
  19. Release the clips (x4) and the hook that attach the 3rd row LH seat frame harness to the seat back shell assembly.
  20. Repeat step 14 to 19 for the RH side.
  21. Remove the 3rd row seat frame harness from the seat back assembly.
    Note
    Do not forcibly pull the left and right harness that are trapped between the seat back shell and the frame.

Install

  1. Route the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back assembly.
    Note
    Route the harness between the seat back shell and the frame.
  2. Install the clips (x4) and the hook that attach the 3rd row RH seat frame harness to the seat back shell assembly.
  3. Connect the 3rd row RH head side air bag connector.
    Note
    Make sure the connector is fully seated with an audible "click".
  4. Secure the 3rd row RH seat back trim retainers (x5) to the seat back frame.
  5. Connect the 3rd row RH seat back sensor connector.
  6. Connect the 3rd row RH seat back heat pad connector.
  7. Connect the 3rd row RH recline motor connector.
  8. Repeat step 2 to 7 for the LH side.
  9. Install the rear clips (x5) that attach the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back assembly.
  10. Connect the 3rd row LH and RH seat belt buckle connectors.
  11. Install the RH front clip that attaches the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  12. Install the clips (x3) that attach the 3rd row RH seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  13. Install the LH front clip that attaches the 3rd row seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  14. Install the clips (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat frame harness to the seat back frame assembly.
  15. Connect the 3rd row LH and RH seat frame harness connectors.
  16. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  17. Install the 3rd row RH seat cushion bolster. See Bolster - Seat Cushion - 3rd Row - RH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the 3rd row LH seat cushion bolster. See Bolster - Seat Cushion - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the 3rd row center inner B-cover. See B-Cover - Center Inner - 3rd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the 3rd row LH and RH seat back panels. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
