Duct - B Section - B-Pillar - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the clip that attaches the LH B-pillar lower air duct to the body.
  3. Release the clips (x5) that attach the LH B-pillar upper trim assembly to the vehicle, and then move the trim aside.
    Note
    Pull the bottom of the upper B-pillar inwards, and then pull the top to release the remaining clips.
  4. Release the tabs (x2) that attach the LH B-pillar B section duct to the body, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the LH B-pillar B section duct to the vehicle, and then install the tabs that attach the duct to the vehicle.
  2. Align location pins (x2) to the slots on the body, and then secure the clips (x5) that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim assembly to the vehicle.
    Note
    Lower the seat belt slider to align it with the B-pillar panel.
    Note
    Make sure that the air vent is properly installed.
  3. Install the clip that attaches the LH B-pillar lower air duct to the body.
  4. Install the LH B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
