Cable Unlock Block - Headrest - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back panel. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the hooks (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the seat back shell.
  3. Release the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the cable lock.
  4. Use long needle nose pliers (1082478-03-A) to locate the clip on the outboard recliner stopper of the 3rd row LH seat, rotate it counterclockwise, then pull the headrest cable outward to release it.
  5. Partially release the 3rd row LH seat back trim retainers (x2) from the seat back frame.
  6. Remove the screw that attaches the 3rd row LH seat head rest cable unlock block to the seat back frame.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  7. Release the tabs (x2) to remove the 3rd row LH seat head rest cable unlock block.

Install

  1. Secure the tabs (x2) to install the 3rd row LH seat head rest cable unlock block.
  2. Install the screw that attaches the 3rd row LH seat head rest cable unlock block to the seat back frame.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install the 3rd row LH seat back trim retainers (x2) to the seat back frame.
  4. Align the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable with the slot, insert it using long needle nose pliers, then rotate it clockwise to secure and install it to the outboard recliner stopper.
  5. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the cable lock.
  6. Install the hooks (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the seat back shell.
  7. Install the 3rd row LH seat back panel. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
