Rocker Carrier - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Bolts (x2) that attach the LH rocker carrier to the body
9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
  • 10 mm socket
 Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH rocker cover and rocker carrier to the front and rear wheel arch liners.
  3. Remove the LH rocker cover from the rocker carrier. See Rocker Cover - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)
  4. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rocker carrier to the body.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  5. Release the clips that attach the LH rocker carrier to the body, and then remove the carrier from the body.

Install

  1. Install the clips that attach the LH rocker carrier to the body.
  2. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rocker carrier to the body.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Install the LH rocker cover to the rocker carrier. See Rocker Cover - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)
  4. Install the clips (x4) that attach the LH rocker cover and rocker carrier to the front and rear wheel arch liners.
  5. Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
