Cup Holder Assembly - 2nd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  2. Move both front seats backward and adjust the seat backs to the lower position.
  3. Remove the center console LH and RH rear side panels. See Side Panel - Rear - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the lower rear end panel. See Rear End Panel - Lower - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
    Note
    During removal, certain steps require extra care. See the animation(s) for detailed guidance.
  5. Disconnect the cup holder speaker connector.
  6. Remove the screws (x4) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  7. Release the datums (x4), tabs (x2), location pins (x3) and disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the 2nd row cup holder assembly from the center console.
    Note
    Remove the cup holder vertical downward. Be careful not to damage the center console during removal.

Install

  1. Connect the electrical connector, align the location pins (x3) and the datums (x4) to the slots on the center console, and then secure the tabs (x2) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.
  2. Install the screws (x4) that attach the 2nd row cup holder assembly to the center console.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Connect the cup holder speaker connector.
  4. Install the lower rear end panel. See Rear End Panel - Lower - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the center console LH and RH rear side panels. See Side Panel - Rear - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Move both front seats to original position.
  7. Raise all windows and close all doors.
