Harness - Center Console - Premium (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).
    Note
    During removal, certain steps require extra care. See the animation(s) for detailed guidance.
  2. Remove the sliding door assembly. See Sliding Door Assembly - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the rear end module. See Rear End Module - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  4. Disconnect the VCUSB module connector.
  5. Remove the lower support bracket for speaker. See Lower Support Bracket - Speaker - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the screws (x2) and the push clips (x2) that secure the center console air duct.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  7. Disconnect center console connectors (x4).
  8. Remove the harness clips (x15) and remove the center console harness.

Install

  1. Install the center console harness clips (x15).
    Note
    Make sure to route the harness correctly.
  2. Connect center console connectors (x4).
  3. Install the screws (x2) and the push clips (x2) that secure the center console air duct.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  4. Install the lower support bracket for speaker. See Lower Support Bracket - Speaker - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Connect the VCUSB module connector.
  6. Install the rear end module. See Rear End Module - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  7. Install the sliding door assembly. See Sliding Door Assembly - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the center console. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).
