Remove
- Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the cinch latch connector.

Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch latch to the liftgate.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Slide the cinch latch up and release the tabs (x2), and then remove the cinch latch
from the liftgate.
Install

Slide the cinch latch tabs (x2) into the liftgate.

Install the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch latch to the liftgate.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Connect the cinch latch connector.
- Install the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
