Remove

Remove the rear end module. See Rear End Module - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
NoteDuring removal, certain steps require extra care. See the animation(s) for detailed guidance.

Remove and discard the screws (x5) that secure the display module.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
Replace

Install new screws (x5) (1096312-00-A) that secure the display module.

- Install the rear end module. See Rear End Module - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
- Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).

Click the Actions tab, type "PING-BASH_DISPLAY" into the search field, click PING-BASH_DISPLAYvia Toolbox:(link), select rear at the
Poppyseed Display Test Arg
field, and change the timeout to20
, then click Run, and allow the routine to complete. - Disconnect the laptop.
- On the touchscreen, press and hold the Exit Service Mode button to exit Service Mode Plus.
- Raise all windows and close all doors.
