Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the LH B-pillar applique. See Applique - B-Pillar - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH B-pillar camera to the LH B-pillar applique, and then remove the camera from the B-pillar applique.

    Remove the bolts and wiggle the camera to clear the o-ring from the LH B-pillar applique.

Install

  1. Position the LH B-pillar camera on the LH B-pillar applique, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the camera to the B-pillar applique.

    Wiggle the camera o-ring through the B-pillar applique, and then install the bolts that attach the camera to the B-pillar applique.

  2. Install the LH B-pillar applique. See Applique - B-Pillar - LH (Remove and Replace).

  3. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock.
  4. Run PROC_DAS_X_CLEAR-CALIBRATIONvia Service Mode:
    • Driver Assist ➜ Cameras ➜ Clear Camera Calibration

    Note
    This routine will be available in software version 2026.8.6 and later. Until then, run the following routines to update the camera:
    1. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
    2. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "DAS" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    3. Type "Side Repeater" into the search field, click PING-HTTP_DAS_L_REPEATER-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox:(link), change the timeout to 100, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    4. Type "DAS" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_EXIT-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Service Mode Plus:Driver Assist ➜ Cameras ➜ Exit Factory Calibration Modevia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    5. Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
  6. On the touchscreen, press and hold the Exit Service Mode button to exit Service Mode Plus.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
  8. Inform the customer that the vehicle needs to be driven by the customer to complete the calibration procedure.

    Note
    Self-calibration can take up to 100 miles (160 km) of manual driving, depending upon the road type and condition. Until self-calibration is complete, the message "Autopilot Features Currently Unavailable: Manual Driving Required While Camera Is Calibrating" is displayed if an attempt is made to engage an Autopilot feature.
