Windshield Washer Bottle and Pump - Connection Hose Assembly (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  2. Open the washer cap.
  3. Place the fluid evacuator in front of the vehicle.

    Note
    Connect the compressed air and open the valve.
  4. Evacuate washer fluid from the washer reservoir.

    Pump as much washer fluid as possible into the evacuator.
  5. Remove the fluid evacuator.

    Disconnect the compressed air and close the valve.
  6. Unlock the black tab, then disconnect the front camera washer hose if equipped.
  7. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.
  8. Release the clip that attaches the washer hose to the washer reservoir.
  9. Release the clips (x4) that attach the washer hose to the body, then remove the hose.

Install

  1. Position the washer hose into place and secure the clips (x4) that attach the hose to the body.
  2. Secure the clip that attaches the washer hose to the washer reservoir.
  3. Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
  4. Engage the black tab, then connect the front camera washer hose if equipped.
  5. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  6. Fill the windshield washer reservoir with fluid.
  7. Close the washer reservoir cap.
  8. Verify operation of the windshield wipers and washer.
