Remove

Use a plastic trim tool to release the front inboard edge of the door
mirror skull cap.

Lift the door mirror skull
cap upwards to release the remaining tabs that attach it to the door mirror
assembly.

Remove the door mirror skull cap from the door mirror assembly.
Install

Position the door mirror
skull cap over the door mirror assembly, and align the skull cap tabs to the
door mirror assembly.

Push down on the top of the
door mirror skull cap to fasten the tabs that attach it to the door mirror
assembly.
NotePress at the inside and outside edges of the skull cap, until an audible click is heard.NoteMake sure the gaps between the inner perimeter of the skull cap and door mirror assembly are within specification.
