Side Shield - Inboard - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the LH front seat backward.
  3. Open the RH rear door and lower the RH rear window.
  4. Remove the inboard side shield:
    1. Release the front clips that attach the inboard side shield to the seat inner seat rail.

      Note
      Release the lower clips first and then the upper positioning clip. Do not fully remove the inboard side shield for the risk of damage.
    2. Pull the rear portion of the inboard side shield outward to release it from the inner seat rail.

Install

  1. With the aid of a flashlight, maneuver the clips of the rear portion of the inboard side shield into position, then apply light pressure to the rear portion to secure it to the inner seat rail.
  2. With the aid of a flashlight, engage the front clips of the inboard side shield to the inner seat rail.

    Note
    Install the upper positioning clip first and then the lower clips.
  3. Raise the RH rear window and close the RH rear door.
  4. Return the LH front seat to its original position.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
