Air Vent - Driver (Remove and Replace)

  • 2026-02-10: Updated the screw torque value securing the vent to the IP carrier and added HVAC routines after replacement.

Reuse

Replace

  1. Install the driver air vent. See Air Vent - Driver (Remove and Install).
  2. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_X_HVAC-CASE-ACTUATORSvia Toolbox:(link)
  3. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_L_HVAC-VANE-ACTUATORvia Toolbox:(link)
    Note
    For the RH air vent, click TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_R_HVAC-VANE-ACTUATORvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  4. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
