Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove all four wheels. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH rear wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Position the oil drain under the rear brake line junction block.

Remove the LH rear brake line
tube nut from the LH rear brake pipe junction block.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 12 mm socket
- Position the oil drain under the rear LH brake hose.

Remove the brake line tube
nut from the brake hose at the jounce hose bracket. Allow the fluid to
drain.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 12 mm socket

Remove the clips (x5) that attach the brake line to the body, and then
remove the brake line from the vehicle.
NoteNo bending of the brake line is allowed.
Install

Install the brake line to the body, and then fasten the clips (x5) that
attach the brake line to the body.
NoteNo bending of the brake line is allowed.

Install the LH rear brake
line tube nut to the LH rear brake pipe junction block.
16 Nm (11.8 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 12 mm socket

Install the brake line tube
nut to the brake hose at the jounce hose bracket.
16 Nm (11.8 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket
- Remove the oil drain from under the vehicle.
- Install the LH rear wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Perform a brake fluid flush on the brakes. See Brake Fluid Bleed/Flush (Maintenance).
