About the Mobile Service Indicator

Some Service Manual procedures can be performed by Mobile Service technicians in a remote setting away from the Service Center (e.g., the customer's home or workplace). To determine whether a Service procedure can be performed by Mobile Service, various factors are considered, such as:
  • The ability to access and service the part in a remote setting
  • The safety of the customer, technician, vehicle, and parts in a remote setting
  • Whether the replacement part can be safely transported in a Tesla Mobile Service vehicle
  • Whether the tools required for the repair are available in a Tesla Mobile Service vehicle
The Mobile Service Indicator, located directly above the Service procedure correction code, defines Mobile eligibility.
