1. Inspect the front external lights.
   Note

   Look for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress.
   
2. Inspect the rear external lights.
   Note

   Look for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress, it is acceptable for taillights to have some condensation.
   
3. Check and adjust the headlights.
   • For Vehicles in North America: See Headlights (Adjust), North America (SAE).
   • For Vehicles in Europe: See Headlights (Adjust), Europe (ECE).
4. Inspect the windshield for rock chips and cracks.
   Note

   No damage in driver’s viewing area, airbag impact area, forward camera viewing area, or within 50 mm of edge allowed. No more than 3 cracks or chips to glass allowed.
   
5. Check all emergency release cables and switches.
   Note

   Front door releases. Use caution with front door releases as door glass will not drop and could damage seals or bright molding, Remove 2nd row door panel pocket cover to reveal emergency cable
   
6. Function check charge port door (5 cycles)
   Note

   5x cycles, Inspect and note functionality full range of motion, touch to open, and indicator light. Look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions
   
7. Open the liftgate by using the exterior switch.
   
8. Close the liftgate.
   
9. Function check LH front door (exterior)
   Note

   Inspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note any abnormalities
   
10. Function check LH front door (interior)
    Note

    Inspect and note functionality for the interior door release, puddle lamps, and manual release cable, From inside look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions
    
11. Function check all windows from the master switch
    Note

    Check operation with door closed, Document any abnormal operation/noises
    
12. Function check RH rear door (exterior)
    Note

    Inspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note any abnormalities
    
13. Function check RH rear door (interior)

14. Function check RH rear window

    Inspect and note functionality for the window switch, and full range of motion of the window with door closed

22. Open glove box through UI

23. Close the glove box.

25. Function check LH front seat

27. Function check folding/latching of 2nd row seats

    Make sure seat shoulder switches, center seat switch and trunk side trim seat switches operate as expected
    
28. Function check the rear seat belts
    Note

    Latch and unlatch buckles, Quickly pull retractor to check locking function
    
29. Function check the RH front seat belt
    Note

    Latch and unlatch buckle, Quickly pull retractor to check locking function
    
30. Function check RH front seat
    Note

    Check full range of motion of seat, Test lumbar and seat heat/cooling
    
31. Function check wipers and spray jets
    Note

    Ensure hood and doors are closed prior to activating wipers, Inspect and note functionality for wipers and wiper jets, Check for full range of motion, speed of motion, interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions
    
32. On the touchscreen, tap Controls > Frunk to open the hood.
    
33. Fill washer reservoir with fluid
    
34. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
35. Perform inspection of under hood area
    Note

    Perform inspection of vehicle under hood area, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance
    
36. Visually inspect brake fluid level
    
37. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
    Note

    Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required
    
38. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Thermal > Actions > Test Thermal Performance, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
39. Remove all the 4 wheels. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
40. Record tread depth for LH rear tire
    Note

    Measure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less
    
41. Measure and record LH rear brake pad thickness
    Note

    Recommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads
    
42. Inspect LH rear brake rotor condition
    Note

    Check for excessive rust or wear. See for service limits.
    
43. Record tread depth for RH rear tire
    Note

    Measure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less
    
44. Measure and record RH rear brake pad thickness
    Note

    Recommend replacement if 2 mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads
    
45. Inspect RH rear brake rotor condition

52. Perform visual inspection of all brake pipes and hoses
    Note

    Pay special attention to brake junction points
    
53. Check all four tire pressures manually
    Note

    4x tires, Set to specification if necessary, Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar, Inspect wheels and tires for any bulges or damage while checking/setting pressures
    
54. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
    Note

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to side
    
55. Perform visual inspection of HV battery enclosure
    Note

    Check for any dents, scrapes, or other damage
    
56. Remove the rear aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace).
57. Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
58. Perform inspection of suspension components
    Note

    Check conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed
    
59. Perform inspection of steering components
    Note

    Check steering gear joints and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged
    
60. Perform visual inspection of underside of vehicle for any coolant leaks
    Note

    Pay special attention to hose connection points
    
61. Perform inspection of vehicle underside components front and rear
    Note

    Perform inspection of vehicle underside front and rear, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance
    
62. Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
63. Install the rear aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace).
64. Install all the 4 wheels. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
65. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
66. Remove vehicle from lift and remove air suspension from "Jack Mode".
    
67. Place vehicle in service mode
    Note

    Via Controls > Software, Touch and hold "Model" for 2 seconds then release, Use screen keyboard to type "service" into dialog box and select OK button
    
68. Check for active alerts
    Note

    Check alert using UI via service mode > active alerts" to "Check alerts using UI via Service Mode > Service Alerts > Active Alerts
    
69. Update vehicle firmware if available
    Note

    Select the clock on the center display, or go to the Software tab, then select install now to start firmware update. Select Install Now, Tap count down timer until clock runs down to 0, Check the center display and ensure the firmware package is installing
    
70. Exit Service Mode through UI
    Note

    Press and hold the Exit Service Mode button for 3 seconds
