Blower Control FET Assembly - Blower Motor - HVAC (RHD) (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 18103222

Removal

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Click Controls > Front Trunk to open the hood.
  3. Remove the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the cabin filter cover and the LH cowl screen panel with a clip prytool.
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) from the cabin filter housing and release the tabs that secure the front cabin filter to remove the cabin filter housing.
  7. Click Controls > Safety > Power Off to power off the vehicle.
  8. Disconnect the 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power.
  9. Remove the glove box assembly from the vehicle. See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).
  10. Disconnect the connector to the blower control FET assembly.
  11. Remove the blower control FET assembly.

Installation

  1. Install the blower control FET assembly.
  2. Connect the connector to the blower control FET assembly.
  3. Install the glove box assembly into the vehicle. See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).
  4. Lift up the LH cowl screen panel.
  5. Connect the first responder loop.
  6. Connect the 12V battery ground. See Disconnect 12V Power.
  7. Install the front HVAC filter housing and secure the tabs (x2).
  8. Install the bolts that secure the front HVAC filter housing.
  9. Secure the LH cowl screen panel and the cabin filter cover.
  10. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. Close the hood.

    Press firmly in the green highlighted areas in the illustration. Damage may occur if other areas of the hood are pressed.

  13. Close the LH front door and the LH front window.
