Sensor - Ride Height - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Note
The replacement front ride height sensor comes with a new mounting bracket.

Removal

  1. Remove the front LH wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the ride height sensor connector and harness.
  3. Remove the nut that secures the link to the upper suspension arm (torque 7 Nm).

    CAUTION
    To prevent ball joint damage, always hold the ball joint pin with a wrench while loosening or tightening the lock nut.
  4. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the ride height sensor to the body (torque 7 Nm).
  5. Remove the ride height sensor from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
