Seat Belt Assembly - 3rd Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Note
In the event of an airbag or seat belt tensioner deployment, certain airbag and seat belt components must be replaced, and other components must be inspected for damage. Refer to SRS Inspection and Component Replacement for a specific list of items that must be inspected and replaced.

In the event of an airbag or seatbelt pretensioner deployment, certain components must be replaced, and other components must be inspected for damage. Refer to the Collision Repair Manual for a specific list of items that must be inspected and replaced.

Removal

  1. Maneuver the 3rd row seat for access to the anchor points (x4).
  2. Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the seat belt to the body and seat back (torque 45 Nm).
    CAUTION
    Replace all patchbolt(s).
  3. Release and remove the seat belt buckle webbing from the main assembly.
  4. Release the seat belt webbing from the floor-mounted anchor point.
  5. Release the seat belt shoulder mounting from the seat slots.
  6. Remove the seat belt assembly from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
