The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
receiver is a component within the Body Controller Module (BCM).
Note
Configuration changes from
within Toolbox can only be performed by a Tesla employee at this time. Third
parties must request the configuration change through their agreed Tesla
technical support channel.
Removal

Remove the Body Controller Module:
- If the vehicle is left hand drive (LHD), refer to procedure.
- If the vehicle is right hand drive (RHD), refer to procedure.
Installation
- Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
