Trim - Dash - Driver's Side - Lower (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the LH instrument panel side cover (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the screw that secures the footwell cover to the instrument panel trim panel (torque 2 Nm).
  3. Wear protective gloves before continuing to the next step.
    Warning
    Protective gloves must be worn to avoid personal injury while removing the lower dash trim.
  4. Using a suitable tool, release the clips (x9) that secure the trim to the dash.
    CAUTION
    Take care not to damage component(s).
    CAUTION
    Replace any broken clips.
  5. Remove the trim from the dash assembly.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
