1. Open both rear doors

   

2. Lower LH rear window

   

3. Fold 60 seatback into down position

   

4. Fold 40 seatback into down position

   

5. Open liftgate

   

6. Remove parcel shelf

   

7. Remove upper liftgate trim
   Note

   4x clips, Replace any damaged clips

   

   

8. Remove liftgate LH side trim panel
   Note

   3x clips, Replace any damaged clips

   

   

9. Remove liftgate RH side trim panel
   Note

   3x clips, Replace any damaged clips

   

   

10. Remove pull cups from lower liftgate trim assembly
    Note

    1x connector, If equipped with power liftgate

    

    

11. Remove screws securing lower liftgate trim to body
    Note

    2x screws, T20, 3 Nm

    

12. Remove lower liftgate trim
    Note

    10x clips, 4x connectors, Number of connections may vary, Take care not to damage connectors when releasing trim

    

    

13. Remove bolt securing liftgate grounding terminals
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm, 2x ground terminals

    

    

14. Remove clips securing LH liftgate harness to body
    Note

    4x clips

    

15. Disconnect rear view camera
    Note

    1x connector, 1x clip

    

16. Disconnect FM/DAB amplifier
    Note

    2x connectors, 1x clip

    

17. Disconnect AM/FM/RKE amplifier
    Note

    2x connectors, 2x clips

    

18. Release LH liftgate harness grommet from body
    Note

    1x grommet

    

19. Disconnect GPS antenna from LH liftgate harness
    Note

    Remove tape as needed

    

20. Route LH liftgate harness through grommet hole

    

21. Remove LH rear C-pillar trim
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3 Nm, 4x clips

    

    

22. Remove LH C-pillar upper trim
    Note

    4x clips

    

    

23. Release rear of headliner and lower
    Note

    5x clips, 3x Velcro strips

    

24. Remove the LH side rear seat bolster from the vehicle
    Note

    1x clip, Release clip from the rear, Do not pull the bolster because of risk of bending

    

25. Separate the upper section of the LH C-Pillar from the lower C-Pillar
    Note

    4x clips

    

26. Release clips securing the LH lower C-Pillar
    Note

    2x clips

    

27. Remove bolt securing liftgate grounding terminal
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm, 1x ground terminal

    

28. Disconnect LH liftgate harness connectors
    Note

    5x connectors, 2x cable ties

    

29. Release zip ties from LH liftgate harness

    

30. Remove LH liftgate harness
    Note

    1x grommet, Release body grommet then route harness through body hole

    

    

31. Install LH body wire harness grommet
    Note

    1x grommet, Route harness through body hole then secure body grommet

    

    

32. Secure zip ties onto LH liftgate harness
    Note

    Hold the harness branches together for easier installation

    

33. Route LH liftgate harness through grommet hole
    Note

    Use zip ties as needed

    

34. Connect GPS antenna onto LH liftgate harness
    Note

    1x connector, apply tape as needed

    

35. Secure LH liftgate harness grommet onto body
    Note

    1x grommet, Apply P-80 onto grommet for easier fit, Make sure its fully installed

    

36. Install clips securing LH liftgate harness to body
    Note

    4x clips

    

37. Connect rear view camera
    Note

    1x connector 1x clip

    

38. Install liftgate grounding terminals
    Note

    2x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm, 2x ground terminals

    

    

39. Connect FM/DAB amplifier
    Note

    2x connectors, 1x clip

    

40. Connect AM/FM/RKE amplifier
    Note

    2x connectors, 2x clips

    

41. Connect lift gate harness connector
    Note

    4x connectors , 2x connector

    

42. Install body ground terminal
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 9 Nm, 1x ground terminal

    

43. Install rear portion of headliner into position and clip into place
    Note

    5x clips, 3x Velcro strips, Replace any damaged or missing clips

    

44. Install LH C-pillar upper trim
    Note

    4x clips

    

    

45. Install LH rear C-pillar trim
    Note

    1x screw, T25, 3 Nm, 4x clips

    

    

46. Install lower liftgate trim
    Note

    10x clips, 4x connectors, Number of connections may vary, Replace any damaged clips

    

    

47. Install RH side liftgate trim
    Note

    3x clips, Replace any damaged clips

    

48. Install LH side liftgate trim
    Note

    3x clips, Replace any damaged clips

    

49. Install upper liftgate trim
    Note

    4x clips, Replace any damaged clips

    

50. Install liftgate pull cups into rear liftgate
    Note

    1x connector, If equipped with power liftgate

    

    

51. Install parcel shelf

    

52. Close liftgate

    

53. Fold 40 seatback into vertical position

    

54. Fold 60 seatback into vertical position

    

55. Raise LH rear window

    

56. Close both rear doors
