Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including cut-resistant gloves and safety glasses when performing this procedure.

Procedure

  1. Put the wheel on a bench with the valve hole facing you.
  2. Measure approximately 3 cm (1.2 in) from the center of the valve hole, and then make a mark with a paint pen.
  3. Use a 10 mm drill bit to drill a hole at the marked position.
  4. Dispose of the wheel at the appropriate waste location.
