Coolant Rapid Mate - Vehicle Side (HV Battery Already Removed) (Remove and Replace)

Note
This procedure may be performed when the HV battery has been removed for other repairs and it is observed that the coolant rapid mate also requires replacement.
  1. Position coolant drain container under the front of the vehicle to catch vehicle coolant
  2. Remove bolts securing coolant rapid mate from body
    Note
    3x bolts, 10mm, 7.7 Nm
  3. Clamp the coolant hose from rapid mate to 4-way valve
    Note
    1x coolant hose clamp
  4. Clamp coolant hose from rapid mate to HV battery heater
    Note
    1x coolant hose clamp
  5. Remove coolant hose from rapid mate to 4-way valve
    Note
    1x hose clamp
  6. Remove coolant hose from rapid mate to HV battery heater and remove coolant rapid mate from vehicle
    Note
    1x hose clamp
  7. Install new coolant rapid mate to coolant hose from rapid mate to HV battery heater
    Note
    1x hose clamp
  8. Install coolant rapid mate to coolant hose from rapid mate to 4-way valve
    Note
    1x hose clamp
  9. Remove clamp from the coolant hose from rapid mate to HV battery heater
    Note
    1x coolant hose clamp
  10. Remove clamp from the coolant hose from rapid mate to 4-way valve
    Note
    1x coolant hose clamp
  11. Install bolts securing coolant rapid mate to body
    Note
    3x bolts, 10mm, 7.7 Nm
  12. Remove coolant drain container from underneath vehicle
