  3. Remove the front trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Front (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trim - Sill - Trunk (Remove and Replace)
  5. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Move 2nd row 60 seat back to vertical position.
  7. Disconnect the 2nd row 60 seat connector.
  8. Release the 2nd row 60 seat connector from the LH seat frame.
    Note
Pinch the tabs on the clip to avoid damage.
  9. Disconnect the LV power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  10. Perform the charge port voltage check. See Charge Port Voltage Check.
  11. Release the harness guides (x3) from the body at the LH rear door sill.
  12. Remove the bolt that secures the busbar cover access door.
    Tip
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  13. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the charge port busbar kit to the HV header.
    Tip
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  14. Lift the busbar kit connector to remove it from the HV header.
  15. Remove the HV insulating gloves.

    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  7. Perform Hioki resistance test at each HV joint from the HV busbar lead to the bolt head.
    • If the resistance is greater than 0.195 mΩ (195 μΩ), stop work and escalate the Toolbox session.
    • If the resistance is lower than 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), reposition the probes and measure again.
    • If the resistance is repeatedly between 0.00 mΩ and 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), hioki test passed, proceed to the next step.
  8. Install the bolt that secures the busbar cover access door.
